What is the primary objective of this role?

The Senior Analyst, Account Strategy & Insights will be responsible for connecting research and strategy on accounts to create a strong foundation that will make Curiosity and our clients’ work smarter, bolder and more efficient.

 Who does the role report to?

The Senior Analyst, Account Strategy & Insights reports to the Director of Experience Strategy.


The Senior Analyst, Account Strategy & Insights is responsible for analyzing and identifying actionable insights that will inform and drive Curiosity’s client solutions. With this role, project success and growth of this offering is by direct collaboration with our Account Strategy, Creative, Media, Marketing Technology and vendor partners in order to bring holistic, strategy-based concepts and solutions supporting our client’s business objectives.

What does this role solve for the agency?

The Senior Analyst, Account Strategy & Insights plays a critical role in elevating the knowledge and understanding of the research world, internally and for our clients, through consumer understanding and insights.

How will this role work?

Lead or support (depending on project scope) the design, execution, and interpretation of a variety of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies with external agencies to perceptions, behaviors & usage, competitive environments and brand performance. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Outline and recommend the optimal research approach (including primary, secondary qualitative, quantitative, consumer response or database resources) throughout the project to address the strategic business problem
  • Co-create with internal and external partners throughout the research process to maximize project outcome
  • Work with agency research partners to leverage a full range of insight generating opportunities, such as survey questionnaire programming, online communities, mobile ethnographies, etc. to create actionable insights for our clients.
  • Act as a storyteller, synthesizing results from various sources of information in a clear and engaging way to provide holistic business recommendations
  • Lead day-to-day relationships with external research agencies
  • Contribute to, and periodically lead, internal training sessions in regards to research
  • Educate Curiosity on the role of strategy, research and insights

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in research and strategy
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, project management, and communication skills
  • Strong conceptual skills and ability to translate concepts into consumer research methodologies and tools
  • Working knowledge of Simmons Insights and Chrimson Hexagon or similar platform
  • Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate findings from data and research to focus on the critical issues and actionable opportunities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Thrives on variety and ability to shift direction seamlessly
  • Collaborative work style and strong ability to partner effectively with account and cross-functional leadership 

Additional Requirements:

Keynote, PowerPoint, Google Slides, Google Docs, Word, Excel, Research Planning, Video Editing Skills are a plus!

This role may require up to 10% travel.
